You gave an agent a shell. Now name every command it can run. A setup is the policy that names them, written for the tools your agents actually use.

You gave your agents different jobs. They all load the same prompt. A setup is the specialists your work needs, materialized as plain files you can diff before anything runs.

Three sizes

The first two are different products rather than a small and a large version of one. The first is self-serve and comes with no support. The second and third are my time, scoped before the work starts, and each price inside its range follows the scope we agree.

Self-serve setup, $50

You describe what you need and get a configured setup back, with no call. It is best-effort, and support is not included. Not open yet. Nothing delivers it without a person in the loop so far, and it opens on this page once something does.

Scoped engagement, $1,000 to $2,000

We agree up front what gets configured and what done looks like, then I do the work. It includes a call. Scope is sized to about 7 to 13 hours of work, at my hourly rate.

Team or role spread, $5,000 to $10,000

Setups across a team, or across a spread of roles that need to work together. Scope is sized to about 33 to 67 hours of work, at my hourly rate.

Long-term support

The tools a setup runs on keep shipping breaking changes. agent-compose alone targets Claude Code, Codex, Goose, and OpenCode, and all four move. Long-term support keeps a setup I delivered working as they do.

It is priced per setup and per year, because the work follows how often those tools change. A large setup and a small one break the same way when one of them moves. It costs $3,000 to $6,000 a year for each setup, billed once a year.

You add it to a scoped engagement or a team setup. It does not attach to the self-serve setup, because that one carries no support to extend.

It covers the setup and nothing around it. It is not on-call, incident response, or ownership of your infrastructure, and it comes with no response-time guarantee.
